Forged by Fire: An Introduction
I have been blogging on and off for decades, yes decades.
Over the years, I found myself starting a blog each time I started a new interest or phase in my life. I had one during my PhD years, one when I started doing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, one when I was really into cooking, one when I was an ambassador for the Whole Life Challenge and so on.
Eventually, I realized two things:
I could not sustain so many different blogs and
I didn’t have to separate all these aspects of my life into separate blogs because they were all, in fact, part of me.
Ultimately, I had a blog called PlumPetals: Worlds Collide. It was a space where I could share my general musings, experiences, and learnings. I was involved in a lot of things at the time and I just needed one place where all my worlds could collide and I could take a look at how they co-exist.
This new blog, Forged by Fire, is a continuation of my personal exploration of how my worlds collide, along with a particular focus on how challenges, adversity, and struggles shape our life experiences and provide us with opportunities to grow.
Forged by fire, guided by light.
